Breast Form Sizing & Care

Sizing tips and how to care for silicone breast forms.

Finding your size

Breast forms are usually sized by cup (A, B, C, D, etc.) and sometimes by weight or dimensions. Your best fit depends on your chest width, desired look, and comfort.

  • Measure your chest: Measure across your chest from armpit to armpit to see your base width.
  • Consider proportion: Forms should look balanced with your shoulders and frame.
  • Start moderate: If unsure, a B or C cup is a common starting point. You can always try different sizes later.

Types of breast forms

Triangle/teardrop: Good for a natural shape, often used with pocket bras or adhesive.

Self-adhesive: Stick directly to the chest. Easier for certain outfits but need regular cleaning and storage.

Pocket bras: Hold non-adhesive forms in place. Comfortable and easy to put on and take off.

Caring for silicone forms

  • Wash with mild soap and water after each use.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, ideally in the case or pouch they came in.
  • Keep away from sharp objects, direct heat, and strong sunlight.
  • Don’t use oils, lotions, or silicone-based products on the forms—they can damage the material.

Wearing with confidence

Use a well-fitting bra or pocket bra. Adjust straps and positioning until it feels secure and looks natural. Many people find that a slightly higher placement looks more natural.

Care instructions can vary by brand. Always check the packaging and brand guidelines.
